Room Size- Vision of the Seas

Recommended Posts

We were just in one of the apparently larger cabins on deck 2 and booked it for the same reason.

I don't think the cabin itself was bigger but there was a "shelf" about 3-4 feet wide under the window, not sure if that was standard or if that would account for the apparent "bigger cabin". Basically the window was in the outer hull, then there was this 3-4 ft shelf and then there was the wall with the bed up against it.

Came in very handy for storing luggage and getting rid of the kid at times as well :)

Thanks that is helpful- I did find some information that stated they are 5 percent larger- maybe that is the shelf space- so assuming the bed was not pushed against the window?

Its hard to describe, basically there was a cabin wall and the bed was pushed up against it but then there was a cut out almost exactly the width of the bed that was about 3-4 feet deep and had a "floor" and walls. At the end of the cutout was the hull of the ship with the window.

The floor of the cutout was just higher than the top of the headboard on the bed.
