Shellac removal and reapply on Royal Princess

I am going on a 11 day cruise and I will already have Shellac on my nails. It will not last the entire 2 weeks that I will be on vacation, it usually only lasts about 10 days then it starts to peel and I have a tendency to peel it even more. I checked the Princess website and I can have Shellac applied for $45. Can I have my old Shellac removed and reapplied and how much does it cost?

Forgive me, I know your question is serious but when I saw the thread title, I thought you were referring to putting shellac on wood, such as railings!

Anyway, Shellac is the brand name of a type of gel polish that sets with either UV or LED lights. Shellac was UV only set at one time, though I don't know if this is still true. My understanding is that it is available on board but I don't know the cost. I too am surprised that yours only lasts 10 days. Have you tried LED cured brands such as Gelish? I actually own an LED lamp and do my own nails but I usually get two weeks, if not more out of them.
