Can I bring a bottle of port wine as my carrying on?

I know the rule is a bottle of wine or champagne. What about the ports, ice or dessert wines??

The rule is one 750 ml bottle of wine per adult over 21. Port or dessert wine would be okay.:D

Port, ice, or dessert wine is fine.

I've brought on port and triple-cream sherry with no problems.

 

Read ONE issue with about an over zealous screener not allowing the port. Reason given was that it was over a certain alcohol pertentage.
