Can I bring a bottle of port wine as my carrying on?

"At the beginning of the cruise during embarkation day, guests (21 years of age and older) may bring on board one bottle (750ml) of wine or champagne, per person, only in their carry-on luggage."

Port, ice, or dessert wine is fine.

I've brought on port and triple-cream sherry with no problems.

Read ONE issue with about an over zealous screener not allowing the port. Reason given was that it was over a certain alcohol pertentage.
