Favorite Carnival frozen drink

Anyone ever find a bartender willing to make just a regular slushie or icee?

 

We get virgin slushie drinks for the kids all the time- strawberry or coconut- but they prefer the fancier banana split frozen drink.

My fave is the Miami Vice.

From their drink recipe book and all over the internet:

 

"Twilight Zone"

1oz Bacardi Light Rum

1/2oz Melon Liqueur

1 1/2oz coconut cream

5oz crushed ice

float of Blue Curaco

Blend all ingredients except Blue Curaco unti smooth, then float Blue Curaco over the top

LINE CHOCOLATE SAUCE IN GLASS

STEP-BY-STEP

PREPARE GHIRARDELLI SYRUP LINED

COMBINE ALL INGREDIENTS AND BLEND.

POUR INTO CHILLED GLASS, TOP

WITH WHIPPED CREAM

Miami Vice and then the BBC (Bailey's Banana Colada)

 

 

LOVE Miami Vice & we just discovered the BBC this past April in Cancun! First time cruising next April, so happy to see that hubby & I will be able to enjoy our favorite drinks!

We are first time Carnival cruisers, sailing October 31st on the Fantasy. I love frozen drinks and was wondering what everyone's favorite drink is. I absolutely loved the Coco Loco on Royal Caribbean. I'm hoping Carnival has something that compares to it.

 

We are probably going to purchase the cheers package, so I will be able to try out all your suggestions:D

 

It is not necassarily a Carnival drink because you can order them at most bars, but the first time I ever had one was on my first cruise and DW's drink of choice (after wine) and that is a blue margarita. Everything about it says "vacation" to me :D:D:D:D

I know this is a little OT but I had to share it. This is the best drink I have ever had in my 40 years of drinking.

 

This is a Miami Vice at Margaritaville in Grand Turk. The Blue Curacao is drizzled over the top and then there is a shot of Myers Dark rum on top that is a heavy pour so it gets down into the drink in addition to what is in the shot glass.

 

My wife wanted her drink virgin so I got her two shots as you can see by the picture.

 

Incidentally I had three of these and now I am no longer allowed to drink rum. Gee I wonder why!

Fun Ship Special!! Have the 1st as soon as we board, and then have another soon after lol. I usually try most of the DODs, usually like them, but also go back to that Fun Ship Special. It tastes like vacation!

This is the way they make them at Nachi Cocom in Cozumel, and the first time I had had them made that way. Oh. My. Soooooo good! :eek:
