Travel Guard vs Access America Insurance?

Does anyone have an opinion about which Travel Insurance company to go with? It seems as though Travel Guard and Access America are the most prevelent ones here on Cruise Critic. Prices are similar but I would prefer some advice from someone who has actually used one or the other.

We've used both but thankfully, haven't had to use them. I don't remember which or if either say that they provide english speaking doctors. To us, that would be important. Just make sure that you carry your meds with you and have prescriptions for them.

Have you checked out the insuremytrip web site, it is a Travel Insurance Comparison Site. Check out the Travelex-travelite insurance it has all the basics and cost less.

I just booked with sta travel insurance. Very comprehensive, was only $70 pp for 15 days, and underwritten by AIS in Calif.

Thank you so much. I went to insuremytrip and checked out the different plans. We decided to go with travelex travelite plan. In comparing coverage and prices they far exceed any of the other plans. Thanks for all your help!

We also like Travelex Travel Lite Policy. And it is primary coverage. The prices are very competitive and they allow you 21 days to purchase from date of cruise deposit and they will waive pre-existing conditions.
