Iain1873 Posted July 29, 2014 #1 Share Posted July 29, 2014 The OH sometimes suffers from motion sickness on the first couple of days of a cruise , despite trying a multitude of different tabs to no avail. Has anyone had the motion sickness jab before going (or while on) a cruise and would you say it works well ?? Thanks in advance ?
Huddersfieldtourist Posted July 30, 2014 #2 Share Posted July 30, 2014 (edited) Not had it but those who have had it have said it worked for them ! They have had it whilst on the ship. Would suggest you take stugeron ( available from all chemists over the counter ) a couple of hours before you sail and keep it up for aday or two and see how you go. If suffering enquire about the jab on board. Oh........ and you can buy stugeron from reception on the ship - it is a bit more costly than at home but not a rip off. I think it is about £4 or £5 on the ship for a packet of 15 tablets whereas at home from memory it is £3.
