Celebrity Equinox Excellent Cruise! by Loose moose

This was our first cruise with Celebrity, having previously cruised with Silversea, Seabourn and Royal Caribbean, the friends we went with have cruised with Celebrity before and recommended them to us. This itinerary, Venice to Istanbul has been on our 'to do list' for ages so our expectations were high! Before the cruise we stayed overnight on Venice Lido at the Panorama Hotel , a delightful hotel opposite the water bus stop. We took the Alilaguna Red Line from Marco Polo to the Lido , then the following morning the Alilaguna blue line to the cruise terminal. Continue reading... Excellent Cruise!

 

Diamond Princess Singapore to Tokyo by rabaroo

We did the 13 night repositioning immediately post dry dock and before Diamond got settled into its Japan season. Having read negative stories we were quite nervous of doing the first cruise post dry dock, and clearly there were some niggles as we were several hours late departing Singapore. Black Watch Fred Olsen: Voyage towards the North Pole on Black Watch 2014 by Docmalc

Once again Fred Olsen have pulled out all the stops here. We have been with other companies, but when we compare the standard, and in particular the food we find FO difficult to beat. We travelled the whole Norwegian coastline up to Honnigsvag, and then on to Spitzbergen.( June/July 2014). We were blessed on the whole with fine weather, which was a bonus ( no criuise company can control that though ! ). We had so many good experiences it is difficult to desribe them all, but the cruise was worth every penny and good value for money. Continue reading...
