Need help with NCL Star cabin selection

We currently have 2 cat BB balcony cabins held but are looking at AF mini suite. Is there really much difference? I'm not sure if we want to spend the extra $400 on the upgrade. What are the major differences? We don't care about having a tub.

 

I've not been able to tell which cabins have the larger balconies in in BB cat. It looks like maybe the port side ( where we are ) and they say that the range is from 37-54 sf.
