Princess sales

Hi UK cruisers

If anybody could be so kind to post if they notice a sale on any Princess cruises , we live in France so my computer automatically goes to the european website in euros so I can not keep track of any sales in UK , we have booked for Hawaii in Feb and South America March 2016 , thank you:)

We get plenty of junk mail from cruise agents, but posting their offers or links on here is probably impossible- usually anything with an agent's names is automatically wiped from CC posts since quoting T/A's names is a no-no on CC.

Plus I just tried one, & it wouldn't even copy-and-paste.

 

Yours is the same problem that I've had with seeing cruise lines' US websites - I'm automatically connected to their UK websites. :(

I gave up figuring how to get round that :rolleyes: but you might have more perseverance than I.

Mebbe you could ask on one or two bloggers' websites for internet techies whether there's a techy way of circumventing the auto-direction ? There's usually helpful folk on that sort of site, same as on CC - though they tend to bury themselves in jargon.

 

Or e-mail a couple of UK cruise specialist T/A's & register with them, I'm guessing you know the major ones. Or just google "cruise specialist travel agents UK".

That way you'll get the same e-mails as us in Blighty.

Stopping them from putting you on a mailing list for bargains is a damn sight harder than getting them to add you to a list :D

Try using some VPN software to trick the system into thinking you are in the UK. Some people I know use expatshield, i use the one available in avast anti virus. I can pretend i am anywhere from London to Singapore.

I downloaded zenmate as suggested by another cc member , bizarrely I can access the Princess UK sites homepage in GBP then when I research a cruise it shows the price in euros , but John Bull I could access the american sites so you could try this , I will just have to check regularly to see if the prices of my cruises has come down
