NFL game on September 4th

My wife and I are cruising on the Freedom Sep 1-6, and were wondering if Carnival usually shows the opening NFL football game since it is a nationally televised game?

It's the only thing on NBC that night, and every cabin has NBC, so the game will be available. I'm sure it will be on, at the very least, in the sports bar which also has NBC --- on our cruise we were stuck with tennis and golf in the sports bar.

We are also cruising but on the Dream on August 31. We cruise a lot and from my experience they ussually play on the big screen if a local team from the home port is playing. We are sailing out of New Orleans so I would think they will have the Saints on. But you can normally catch the games that Fox or CBS is covering nationally in the sports bar or in your cabin. Where will you be sailing from? Have a great cruise.

Last year John Heald would post the NFL games being shown on his blog the week before the games are played. I am sure he will continue to do this.

I believe Sept 4th is a Thursday night.....that being said I assume this will be the only game playing live at that time so I hope and pray they televise the game somewhere on the Breeze. I don't think the Breeze has a "sports bar" ?

They do have a "big screen" and there is a good chance is will be shown there. Otherwise, it should be on you cabin TV.

It doesn't but there is a an array of 5 or 6 TV's over the casino bar and a few TV's in the Red Frog Pub. I watched Heat / Pacers NBA semi finals on the Breeze in both places.
