Train travel to Winter Park Fl from Raleigh NC ....

We are cruising in Nov. once again on the beautiful Mariner of the Seas. There are 8 of us total & with the continuing rise in gas prices we are considering an alternate way of getting there.

Here's my question(s). Are there vans that can be rented one way to the port & then again for the return trip? Is there a shuttle from the train station to the port? Any suggestions? How was the trip on the train? Any info is appreciated. TIA
