cruisingbajan Posted October 7, 2014 #26 Share Posted October 7, 2014 We want to go to Harrison caves in the morn. & then to a beach after that. We want a beach to just relax & take a tour to the turtles. Would Harbor lights be a good place for that, the boat yard sounds to busy for us? It will be alot quieter than the boatyard for sure. If that were to happen us it possible to walk to harbour lights? Do either of these aces takes ressies for chairs? cruisingbajan Posted October 10, 2014 #29 Share Posted October 10, 2014 I have never heard of anyone being turned away from the boat yard. Harbour lights is within easy walking distance of the boat yard, they in fact share the same stretch of beach. Have never heard of them taking reservations for chairs. I am sure there will be no problem getting more than 2 chairs as families go there all the time. Don't know what the price would be though. Oceanborn Posted October 14, 2014 #31 Share Posted October 14, 2014 Hello Keith, Mind if I get in on the questions as well? lol. Any opinion on Crane beach? Is it worth the taxi ride over there?
oreo35 Posted December 2, 2014 #32 Share Posted December 2, 2014 I think they probably meant "Brandons" beach...which is the closest beach to the cruise terminal. You may actually be able to see if from the ship depending on how you are docked. Its a very nice beach. Quite popular with the locals. Not much in the way of amenities. Hey Keith, Is Weiser's beach bar still there at Brandon's beach ? I heard from someone it was a cool place with good , reasonable food but not sure if its still around Dan

I've been to the Crane for lunch a few years ago. Great local food buffet. It has a nice beach that's not as busy as Accra/Rockley and has awesome ocean views from up high. Hi oceanborn I think th Crane Beach is definitely worth the ride. Like Dan said before it is very scenic and tranquil. Being that it is off the beaten path you may not be able to do much else if you go there but it is beautiful.
