jlrieman Posted August 23, 2014 #1 Share Posted August 23, 2014 Has anyone stayed in this cabin? I have scoured this forum and the Internet looking for information and can't find anything! We are in this cabin for the 10/12/14 sailing with our 3 girls 13, 8, 6. I have seen that some of these rooms have a curtain divider and some have a door. Thanks! ATC cruiser Posted August 23, 2014 #3 Share Posted August 23, 2014 Looks like my pictures didn't post, but there is a curtain between the sofa bed and the king bed and the bunk beds have a curtain to divide them from the rest of the cabin. rockyhavoc Posted August 23, 2014 #4 Share Posted August 23, 2014 Wr e had this same cabin booked for our 2014 holiday in October. We found a video of it in youtube. As you come into the room there is the bathroom on the left and bunkbeds recessed into the wall on the right with curtains. There is a sofa bed then the bed which is seperated by a curtain. There is 2 large port hole windows. However i found out that the 2 FOV rooms on deck 8 were bigger and laid out differently. With this one you enter into a lounge with sofa bed and the bunkbeds are in a seperate room and the bedroom in a alcove with a curtain divider. This one has 3 big portholes. Checked if 8200 or 8500 was free last month and 8200 was so we have switched (video on Youtube of this room also) Apparently in 8500 all the sleeping areas have doors. FOV rooms same on voyager and freedom class. Maria x:D
Maybaybie10 Posted August 23, 2014 #5 Share Posted August 23, 2014 We are booked into 8200 for our April cruise. From what I've learned (as stated above), 8500 has doors on the bunkroom and main bedroom, but 8200 has a much bigger living room. With 3 growing kids, we went for the extra room and chose 8200. If you look at the deck plans, you can see the extra room... Good luck to you and enjoy your cruise!
