for information on your port of departure, check out east coast departures.

I've been reading a lot on that board, but I'm confused since there are different NY ports and a port in NJ.

There are two ports in NYC. One on the West Side of Manhattan (Carnival Splendor sails from here) and one in Red Hook, Brooklyn.

There is also a port in Bayonne, NJ.

We sailed on the Splendor last September out of NYC Manhattan Right next to the Intrepid Air Space Museum. It is absolutely awesome sailing out of NYC. Sailing past the the old Lackawanna Train Station, Statue of Liberty, Freedom Tower. Seeing the Staten Island Ferry right by the ship. Then going under the Verrazano Bridge and out to sea. Splendor is a great ship and Malcolm is a fun cruise director.

The actual location is the New York Passenger Ship Terminal/Pier 90. The address is 711 12th Avenue (at West 50th Street) in Manhattan. Of course that could change but it's been leaving from there since my first cruise on it back in December. Going again in a week. Yippee!:D

Bayonne, NJ is exclusively used by RCCL and Celebrity.

Cunard's Queen Mary 2 can on dock in Red Hook, Brooklyn since it is too

long to fit into Manhattan.

I actually sailed on QM2 out of Manhattan during the inaugural season. They must have had problems.
