Pre cruise Miami hotel help

We are a family of 7 cruising out of Miami on Dec 20th We will be arriving early afternoon the day before and are wondering where to stay. We don't want to just sit in the hotel all day. Also, will we be able to get transportation to the pier with that many in our group? Everyone mentions the Intercontinental and was also contemplating The Hampton Inn since they offer a free breakfast. Since it will be over the holidays, wondering about price and availability. Thanks!

Best to go under Florida Homeports and go to Florida Departures

Prices will be high this time of year.

 

You need to book soon.

 

Hampton Inn will be nice for the family and I would look at that first. It's a nice Hampton Inn and also located near Mary Brickell Village with a lot of nearby restaurants.

 

Intercontinental is nice and a full service hotel but I would recommend Hampton Inn.
