Booking excursions thru RCCL

Just a quick question...If you book an excursion thru RCCL and the ship skips the port do still get charged for the excursion or will you be refunded?

We missed Grand Cayman on Rhapsody last December. The itinerary was changed to Costa Maya due to damage from Hurricane Ivan. A credit for our GC excursion showed up on our SeaPass account a couple of days into the cruise.
