Early flight with self assist disembark?

Wasn't sure if this should go in the Carnival, Cruise Air or San Juan forums...

We are considering a 10:55am flight out of San Juan. We'll be on the Liberty, it will be docking on a Sunday and there is one other ship in port (Adv. of the Seas). If we self disembark (is that what it's called?), what time would we expect to be off the ship?

The next flight after that is 1pm which I would love to take and not worry about rushing but... that misses our preferred connection and puts us home a good 3 hours later than the 10:55 flight.

Re the self assist - we'll have no trouble managing our bags... It's been a while but I remember being able to tell them you have an early flight and being allowed off the ship first...

What has been your experience with self assist debarkation in San Juan?

Thanks for your input.
