The Mall in Florence

Has anyone gone to the Mall in Florence? I understand the Gucci warehouse is located there along with other designer outlets. I was wondering if the prices are actually greatly discounted compared to the retail stores here in the US. We're planning to do a DIY to Florence from Livorno and was wondering if we should include that in our venture.

You wont have time to tour florence and mal on your own tour

I went to the Mall a few years ago when I was in Florence for a week. It's a fair distance away from Florence and I think given the distances and the traffic it may be difficult to fit into one day.

 

Also, I think it can be very random in terms of what they stock - I got nothing and yet my DH who hates shopping got a suit that just happened to be his size. Seemed a lot of time to go on the off chance that they had something.

 

Unless you've been to Florence before, I wouldn't worry about fitting in the Mall.
