cessnabmw Posted September 6, 2014 #1 Share Posted September 6, 2014 We just paid a deposit for our first cruise ever. We are taking the 8 day Eastern Caribbean cruise. I saw that you can get a $100 OBC if you own shares. What's not clear is when do I have to own the shares? Can I buy them after paying for the cruise and still get the credit? Or would I have to own the shares prior to booking? Thanks!

cccer Posted September 6, 2014 #3 Share Posted September 6, 2014 Yes, you can buy after booking and get the OBC. IMO stock is pretty high right now and they just announced their quarterly dividend so if you want to buy wait to see if it goes down a bit. 8335GOULR Posted September 6, 2014 #4 Share Posted September 6, 2014 You have to own at least 100 shares. So long as you request the benefit prior to sailing, they will give you the OBC.
UncleInci Posted September 6, 2014 #5 Share Posted September 6, 2014 You will need to send in some proof of ownership prior to sailing. All the details you will need (from Carnival Corp directly): http://phx.corporate-ir.net/phoenix.zhtml?c=140690&p=irol-sharebenefit
