We just paid a deposit for our first cruise ever. We are taking the 8 day Eastern Caribbean cruise.

 

I saw that you can get a $100 OBC if you own shares.

 

What's not clear is when do I have to own the shares? Can I buy them after paying for the cruise and still get the credit? Or would I have to own the shares prior to booking?

Yes, you can buy them after paying for the cruise.

Yes, you can buy after booking and get the OBC. IMO stock is pretty high right now and they just announced their quarterly dividend so if you want to buy wait to see if it goes down a bit.

You have to own at least 100 shares. So long as you request the benefit prior to sailing, they will give you the OBC.

You will need to send in some proof of ownership prior to sailing.

Bought some shares, sent the fax to Carnival and the credit was applied in a hour or so.
