Getting from MIA to Port-taxi or RCCL transfer?

Does anyone know the cost of a taxi from MIA and the port? Also, would you take your own taxi or do the RCCL transfer? Does the transfer run at a set time only?

wow I may just be better off with the RCCL transfer then. TA said it would be $24 round trip per person. Thanks for your reply.

Remember with a taxi though, that gets you the whole taxi. With one person, round trip on a taxi will be $42. RCCL will be $24. 2 people - Taxi is still $42, now RCCL will be $48. And so on and so forth.

When I checked prior to our sailing, the roundtrip RCCL transfer was more $ than taxi for our group of four. Believe cruise transfer was for scheduled time also. Walked out of airport and immediately had taxi van available that accommodated 3 adults and teen plus 11 bags (including carryons) for $21 flat rate to port (plus tip).

Taxis are cheaper as long as you have 2 or more people and you do not have to wait for a bus to fill up.

Hey I was checking into this also and found out that the 7 of us traveling will be much better off taking a van or limo then the transfers. I think it depends on how many are in the party. The more there is the better off you are to not do tranfers.

Take the taxi. You avoid the multi-passenger vans/buses and you don't have to wait to be joined by people from other flights. Much easier.:)
