Disconnections Posted September 9, 2014 #2 Share Posted September 9, 2014 (edited) Does Carnival do anything on the ships for Halloween? Or in the month of October? They have trick or treating at the kid's club/by the spa (on the Magic), inflatable decorations along the promenade and usually a costume contest. If I missed anything, someone else will be along to add their input. Edited September 9, 2014 by Disconnections

beauty1492 Posted September 9, 2014 #4 Share Posted September 9, 2014 Been on quite a few Halloweens and it is a blast! I love the folks that make costumes from the cabins..togas anyone or how about a bubble umbrella with streamers and attached to the streamer folks with white sheet as jelly fish. There is usually a costume parade and trick or treat for the kids. So much fun!
092306 Posted September 9, 2014 #5 Share Posted September 9, 2014 We were on the Splendor for it last year and the ship was decorated from the start of the cruise even though Halloween fell on the last night. Lots of photo ops with Halloween themed back drops. Trick or treat for kids and party. Adult costume party and special MDR dessert. Most people were in costume and many went all out. It was a really fun time, would definitely do it again. Sent from my iPhone using Forums
samiam0403 Posted September 9, 2014 #6 Share Posted September 9, 2014 I've sailed once on a Halloween cruise, and it was a blast! In addition to everything else already mentioned, there are also some extra things happening in the casino on Halloween. I played roulette on Halloween night, and every time 13 hit (I always play 13), anyone with a bet on it got to draw out of a pumpkin bucket for various prizes. I won dinner for 2 in the steakhouse, $50 OBC, and a t-shirt/hat combo and a few other things. Overall, the cruise was a lot of fun and I'd do another Halloween sailing in a heartbeat!
