Norwegian Getaway - January 10, 2015

Hey all! Have a decent size group of guys all going on this trip. Hope others are joining as well! Anyone else book yet?

My partner and I are planning to book this cruise, but haven't gotten around to making it official with the travel agent yet. We're already bringing one friend along, and trying to convince some others to come as well.

Oh cool. We have a group of 10 guys so far that are booked. All anywhere from late 20's to early 40's. Can't wait!

My partner and I just made final payment on this cruise. We've had it reserved for quite a while.

We made our final payment last week, at the very last minute, it seems. Anyone have anything exciting planned for the trip yet? Any reason for the large group, AK?

We only have a couple things planned. Segways in Nassau, and Maho beach (by the airport runway) in St. Maarten. Nothing planned for St. Thomas.

We are actually going to be there for a friends 40th birthday. No real plans. Probably just do beaches while we are in ports. Can't wait to get there!!

Are we all meeting up at the LGBT thing on the first night that I assume will exist?

My partner and I just booked the Jan 10 trip on the Getaway. We are always looking for shore excursion, dinner and hang out friends. We are from NE Ohio early 50's.

Yes, NCL usually has LGBT (FOD) meetings scheduled every evening in one of the bars. Look in the daily newsletter for the time and location. They aren't hosted. So it's up to those attending to congregate themselves. We usually go to at least a couple of them, and try to get to them on the first or second night so that we meet people towards the beginning of the cruise. But we also usually miss a couple of them too depending on other activities or dining reservations.

We are up to 14 people going in our group! Can't wait to get to some warm weather!

So glad to see fellow gays are on this ship! I'm Cortney & will be coming with my Partner Carly. This will be our first cruise and are very excited. Will keep a lookout for the FOD meetings.

This cruise boards on what we consider to be our 9th anniversary. We had a commitment ceremony on a beach on Maui complete with limo, tuxes, and photographer on Jan 10, 2006 when we were on Pride of America. But with the recent rulings, we decided to get legally married before we leave on vacation. So if things go according to our last minute plans, we'll be legally married just a week when we board this cruise. See everyone in less than two weeks!
