cash from the kiosk

So taking the information from various threads here, I tried to get cash from the kiosk. Found it right across from the Guest Services desk. It wouldn't read my card, not sure why (tried it again later in the cruise, same result). I did put in my folio #, pin #, etc... When I got to the spot to select to get cash back it said, you must use your card.... ARGH!!!!!! :) Went over to the Guest Services desk, told them what happened, got the cash from my S&S account for the excess OBC. So, no need to go into the casino at all.

I had exactly the same problem with the kiosk, however when I went to the purser to get the overage, they wouldn't give me any cash, because the overage was "non refundable" cash. I went directly to the casino, put the card in a slot machine, loaded the overage amount, pulled one time, hit a "5", cashed out to my card, and went to the casino cashier, where they paid me. No Problem! ;)

I left just enough cash on the S&S to cover the gratuities. So, wasn't a problem. :) Just found it odd that it wouldn't read the card.
