izmeeh Posted September 13, 2014 #1 Share Posted September 13, 2014 What to do in Ensenada while on a budget (less than $30/person if possible) if you don't drink, have been to the blow hole, and have walked the downtown area? Is there a nice walk-able beach in the area or one where you can take public transportation?
SadieN Posted September 13, 2014 #2 Share Posted September 13, 2014 Have heard of a beach from the locals, it has no services, somewhere to the right (south) of the dock. No idea how far it is. There are several museums in Ensenada. One is across the street and to the south of the White Cultural Center building. It has a huge, thin metal statue in front. The other museum is the old army barracks/jailhouse in the center of town. It is white with a red stripe. The fishmarket is always interesting. There's always the casino (slots and bingo) around the corner from Hussong's on Ave Lopez. We've done better there than on the ship. When we eat we stay out of the places that cater to tourists.
