Renting a Car at Puerta Maya Pier

Has anyone rented a car at the Puerta Maya (Carnival) Pier in Cozumel lately? Any suggestions? What was your expierence?

 

We had rented a car a few years ago from Ace-Executive at Puerta Maya. But have not found anything on them for this trip in October. I guess they are not in business anymore.

There is a counter at the end of the maze of shops, just before the taxi stands. Similar prices and similar vehicles (usually pretty beat up) but then again you are not going very far. Take note of the location of the gas station and note ALL damage on the car when you pick it up.

Hi, I found an Alamo rent a car at Puerta Maya - I'm trying to find out anything about it.

 

I rented from that Alamo in November. It worked out great. Price was cheaper than a taxi for sure. We drove around, shopped, and went to a free beach.
