Question about early saver

I have booked early saver previously and am aware of the restrictions. I have a cabin on hold for a cruise and plan on booking early saver again. I was able to put the cabin on hold with the 2nd passenger as TBA. My question is will it let me book it that way and add the second passenger later? Anyone have any experience with this?

I booked using Early Save for next June while on a cruise this June. Wasn't sure at the time I could get proper permission from absent father to take a grandchild.

Sweet young man at future desk told me to book single (double rate) and I could add a second name later. I believed him and booked.

Two months later the dad came through with signed, notarized permission, Went to my TA who added her immediately. Gratuities and port charges then doubled and cabin charge stayed exactly the same, and still on Early Saver.

Worked like a charm, just as the sweet young man said it would.

I had a back-up cabin mate just in case because I didn't want to cruise solo.
