Casino entrance on the Navigator

We've been on the Navigator twice and will be on her again this december. We noticed in May that the entrance to the Casino was completely stripped of the fantastic looking entrance it had before the refurbishment. We were very disappointed! It was a spectacle of colors, pirate statues, whimsicle touches here and there, along with cool little hidden objects. Everytime you walked through there, you would spot different things. It was a fun area. Photo opportunities galore! The see-though floor was filled with treasures, pirate jewels and coins. Even an alligator with his mouth open wide! Just an awesome experience to walk in there. Does anyone know why this part of the ship was removed? :(:(:(

Well, I don't know the true, complete answer, but I do know that the clear floor with all those treasures under it was very hard to keep clean and it was getting very clouded from age.

I didn't notice the floor being cloudy. I just wish they hadn't removed everything. I really thought it was cool. :(
