Carnival Miracle twister waterslide height requirement

hi- we will be sailing on the Carnival Miracle with my 5 year old and 3 year old. I read there is a height requirement of 42 inches. My son is only 40 inches and is a great swimmer and I know he will be bummed if he cannot go on the slide with his sister. Does anyone know how strictly the height requirement is enforced? Thank you

Get him watershoes, big hair, and a bit of practice at standing on the balls of his feet, and he'll pass. ;)

They do check at the top and it's a long walk back down. Your 5 year old may not like it anyway, so it may not be an issue. I have a daredevil, and at 7 it was almost too fast for her. They have to go alone.

They're pretty strict on the 42" and shoes aren't allowed on the slide so that trick doesn't work (you have to take them off your feet and carry them down in your hands.)

Oh really?? We are going on the Miracle next month and I heard that the slide was super slow. :confused: My kids want a fast slide! :D
