Pharmacy in port

I was just curious if anyone has had any recent experience at the pharmacy at the terminal, or inside the city. I've seen conflicting reports where people say meds are legit other people have posted that the pills were fake. I understand that is a risk I would take but I'm just curious if anyone has had any recent experience with this pharmacy. Thanks

 

Also will they let you purchase 1 or 2 of something so you can go verify that they are real or do they only have them set in certain quantities?

I don't use pharmacies in foreign ports, but my understanding from others, the pharmacies in Cozumel are the better sources for the Western Caribbean cruises. Most ships stopping in Belize also stop in Cozumel. As per usual, it's caveat emptor on any such purchases regarding quality, quantity and prices.

 

In Belize City, supposedly the best stock pharmacy is Belize Medical Associates on St Thomas Street. It's a private hospital/medical complex up near the Municipal Airport and St John's College. They do have a website.
