Rare makai 7 Posted September 26, 2014 #1 Share Posted September 26, 2014 Any recent cruisers out there? We are just about to book a cruise... and would like a bit of feedback if there is any. Thanks!
fishman620 Posted September 30, 2014 #2 Share Posted September 30, 2014 We have checked into Blue Lagoon cruise and also Captain Cook Cruise and chose Capt. Cook 7 night Yasawa Island cruise. The prices were about the same, our deciding factor was the staterooms. Blue Lagoon has small windows/portholes with the entry door on the inside hallway of the boat. Capt. Cook has two larger windows and a door going out to the outside rail, so it is like kind of having a small balcony.
Rare makai 7 Posted October 3, 2014 Author #3 Share Posted October 3, 2014 Thanks for your comments. Fiji Princess has a very different "vibe" to me than Captain cook- super casual and barefoot is more what I am looking for. We decided to go for it. marama Posted March 21, 2015 #4 Share Posted March 21, 2015 Hi Makai7, Have you completed your cruise yet? We are thinking about this cruise next year, so any feedback would be much appreciated.
Rare makai 7 Posted April 9, 2015 Author #5 Share Posted April 9, 2015 Yes, We are back! I will write a review when I have a chance - there are many positive things to say about this cruise - and there are important considerations to make sure that you know exactly what you will be getting... If you have any specific questions I would be happy to answer them! We had a fantastic time - the crew were amazing, and we had a wonderful mix of "7 day stayers" on board that all clicked - and we laughed for 7 days straight... The first 3 days there were no more than 20 passengers on board and it was like having a private yacht. The second 4 days there were a new bunch of people - and we had lots more fun, but it was a bit more crowded. Still nothing like a typical 'big boat'.
