OBC, Do they use non refundable credits first?

I have just read through the "new OBC" thread. I understand that some credit is non refundable but does anyone know if they use the non refundable first? And does anyone have any knowledge of whether the auto tips can be paid with OBC since this "new" policy has been in effect? Thanks.

This was Princess answer to a similar question on the Princess Facebook page:

 

Princess Cruises: all Onboard Credits are applied to your folio at the same time. Yes, Onboard Credits can be still be applied toward your daily hotel charge. We hope to see you soon!

Thank you Billco for your response. I did not know Princess has a facebook page. I am not on facebook but I will check it out. Thanks again
