Snorkel trip without sting ray stop?

We've done sting ray city before from a boat and this time we are looking to find a snorkel trip without the rays. At least not the ones at stingray city. Any ideas? Can't afford private charter but also have own equipment if there's a place we could get to off shore. Thanks!!

take a cab to cemetary beach. cemetary reef is swimming distance from the beach. lots of marine life and pretty good coral. theres nothing there though so take what you need in the way of drinks or food. lots of shade to rest in. i got the cab drivers number and called her to pick us up when we were done. had a great time away from the crowds.
