Veendam 10/18 sailing ??????

We missed our 10/11 Veendam sailing (28 day to San Diego) and have been told we can take the 21 day version leaving Boston 10/18. Which we are going to do with our friends.

 

Has anyone heard if this date is firm????? I see the ship is heading for Philadelphia for dry dock and should arrive this Wed.

 

We already made changes to get to Boston and new Hotel stay for 2 days prior to the cruise. Made many other small detail revisions, stop mail, police notification, return Canadian funds, etc......

 

Any information on if the 10/18 Boston sailing date will hold would be appreciated.

Can't say if the new schedule will hold, but received the same information and made the same revisions to our travel plans. Hopefully the Veendam will be extra spiffy for us! Fingers crossed that it will be a go on the 18th...

Until she gets to Philadelphia and the workers there actually start to work on the propeller, no one will know if she will be ready to start cruising again on Oct 18.

Everyone has to be patient and wait for the verdict as to how good or bad the situation is for repairs.
