Myself and partner going on our first cruise (Royal Oasis) and we were wondering if any of you plan on going on?

 

Does the FOD meet n greet happen on Oasis?

Welcome to cruise critic. You picked a great ship for your first cruise. If you go down near guest services, there will be a bulletin board with all the different groups meeting up. If I remember correctly the FOD get together was around 11pm at the Champagne Bar.

And if the posted time doesn't suit you, you can put up a card of your own and see who shows up. We met two couples purely by chance on the rising tide bar and had an informal "meeting," and later saw them in the champagne bar another night with some others and joined them for a while.

 

It's largely a matter of chance with who is on board and who shows up any given night. You could see if there is a roll call for your sailing on the G&L roll calls board (sub-board to this one), though often those are not very active.
