I went to Halfacts but couldn't find anything on any of the vista ships that are close to this. Looking on the layout it looks like a normal Verandah. anyone stay in this one?

Have not stayed in that cabin but I can tell you that the railing on that verandah is solid steel rather than see thru plexiglass. As soon as I saw your query mentioning deck 4 I had a look... We had a last minute chance to book a cruise and our agent put in for a VF guarantee... On the other decks the VFs have the usual clear railings but there are those few on 4 with the railings you cannot see through. No thanks!

 

We cancelled the VF guarantee and took a VD of our own choosing for a few dollars more.

 

What's the point of a balcony you can't see out of from your chair or even sitting in the room for that matter?

 

I guess if I was a smoker and just wanted the balcony to get outside and smoke it would be maybe another story.
