lucksak Posted October 10, 2014 #3 Share Posted October 10, 2014 It appears as if Princess has done away with them on all ships. We were on the Caribbean Princess Sept. 20--Sept.29 th. They had Happy Hour at Explorers 3-4 pm. and Skywalkers 11--12 pm. BOGO free beverage. It was posted in the patter. Another poster said this is the usual but not posted in the patter on other ships. They also mentioned a raffle and entertainment. We never did make it to either venue. Ciao Ollie

No thank you, Princess.
OrlandoD Posted October 11, 2014 #5 Share Posted October 11, 2014 Does anyone that has sailed on Royal know if they offer any Happy Hrs. at any of the bars? Was on Caribbean Princess recently and I can confirm the 3-4 and 11-12 happy hours. Offered some sort of drawing (that you must be present to win) but the only place left to sit in the room was folding chairs lined up in a row with no place to even put your drink down. (!?) We took our drinks and found a quiet place to enjoy them rather than sit on the folding chairs and wait for the drawing. Explorers was overflowing and the much larger bar next to it was absolutely empty. Felt like the Consummate Hosts didn't want you to be too comfortable during the BOGO time. Protseq Posted October 11, 2014 #6 Share Posted October 11, 2014 " Felt like the Consummate Hosts didn't want you to be too comfortable during the BOGO time. " I found the drinks to be smaller with these BOGO deals on Holland America. You have to wonder if these were great deals. Thanks for the insight on Royal Princess' approach to happy hour.
