Miami port check in time

This is only our 20th cruise but at 45 I'm feeling old and sitting in our Miami hotel room trying to remember what time we head over to the port to check in for the Breeze. I should be sleeping since this is our annual parents only cruise but I always ready to embark and hit the sea and hear the ocean lapping against the ship......so I'm thinking we usually head over around 11:00 am-11:30 am.......is that wrong? We are at the JW Marriott so we are close to the port.

On the ship before noon.

I'd just take a cab. They will take you when you're ready.

No, a private shuttle. We're traveling in a group of 10 so we had to opt on getting a shuttle. She said that we have to "wait outside in the sun" if we reach before 11 because they wont let us in... I made the shuttle pickup for 10:15 regardless anyway.

You're more likely to be waiting in the sun if you wait until 11 to leave.
