valor - cabin 6290 - need advice please!

we are staying in cabin 6290 (inside cabin). has anybody stayed here or around here. we are a bit worried as we have read to stay clear of alot of cabins on deck 6. we cant really afford to be moved anywhere else but if somebody advises this is a bad roon we will have to consider it

I would do an internet search for your ship's name with the cabin number and see what pops up. You might be surprised how much info is out there on your particular cabin.

 

I'm guessing, most people on Cruise Critic are like me though and don't remember their cabin number from sailing to sailing, so these boards may not be your most helpful option for specific room info.

 

I know the Celebrity boards are because they have a spreadsheet of traveller reviews based on ship and cabin. One like that for the Carnival board would be nice too. :)

When I was on the Valor we had booked Veranda deck...an opportunity came along to switch to a guarantee and get OBC...After agonizing and looking at the website for available rooms to try to figure out where they would put us...we decided to go for it.... I told my husband that I didn't want to be on upper as we have been spoiled by Veranda and above and I didn't want to be far from anything.

 

We we got our room assignment it was UPPER....well I went with an open mind and LOVED LOVED LOVED this location...it was 3 floors from pools....1-2 down to the shops and theater and dining room

As I was saying....that floor was great and I would book it in a heartbeat in the future due to the good location to stuff on the ship
