In halifax I used blue Diamond tours and in Portland we used a charter company called Lucky Catch. In Bar Habor we used a private cab. I'l post more details on each when I have the photos ready but all were wonderful.

 

Also, in St Johns I did the Hop On Hop Off. Not worthy the almost $50 in my opinion.

I had organized a private tour via our cruise critic roll call with Blue Diamond Tours. The tour included photo stops in Lunenburg, Mahone Bay, and Peggy's cove. there were 12 of us in the group so they had 2 vans of 6 each which worked out very well. Had a great day with Blue Diamond tours, they did a great job putting this trip together. The cost of the tour was $70 per person, well worth it. The only negative thing I can say is the drive from Halifax to Lunenburg is about an hour and a half.

The next day at sea, we had the honor of having lunch at Giovanni's Table with our Cruise Director Clo.

Did the Pink Bus HOHO. to be honest, not worth it in my opinion. St Johns is a walkable town. the only places the bus comes in handy is if you going to Carleton Martello tower and the reversing falls.

In Bar Harbor we hired a private guide named Woody of Bar Harbor Coastal Cab. He comes very highly recommended by the Bar Harbor chamber of commerce and by me :)
