Cupcrazy Posted November 18, 2014 Author #452 Share Posted November 18, 2014 Being Canadian we love hockey, or as Americans call it "ice hockey". The Florida Panthers were in town hosting the Calgary Flames for a 3pm puck drop. Of course we got tickets to the game. The arena, BB&T Center, is right across the street from Sawgrass in Sunrise Florida. We had 10th row seats and could have moved lower. It's sad that in Toronto tickets are so difficult to get and are massively expensive while in Florida they can't give away tickets. Where are the fans????? More than double that if you're trying to get from a scalper
Cupcrazy Posted November 19, 2014 Author #456 Share Posted November 19, 2014 For the first time we decided to try to bring water on the ship. Each of our cabins bought a case of water and taped a luggage tag to the top of it. We left it with the rest of our luggage curbside at terminal 18 and hoped fror the best. It worked! The water showed up at our cabin doors with the rest of our luggage. We dropped off our rental cars and took Hertz's free shuttle. They first dropped people off at Regal Princess (terminal 2). I didn't mind that as we got to see the new ship.
Cupcrazy Posted November 19, 2014 Author #457 Share Posted November 19, 2014 We arrived at terminal 18 just after 12pm. It wasn't busy at all inside and we were able to get through in 15 minutes
Cupcrazy Posted November 19, 2014 Author #458 Share Posted November 19, 2014 (edited) They now have a question about Ebola on the health questionnaire you fill out at check in. Picture is blurry as it was taken with my iPhone We were also given a notice saying because of some technical issues with the ship we'd be arriving in St. Thomas an hour later than we were originally scheduled. We did not notice any propulsion issues throughout the trip and no other changes to the itinerary were made. I stopped off in Central Park to pick up an umbrella but it looked like other people had the same idea as me. Regal Princess HAL Eurodam
