afreetdragon Posted October 23, 2014 #1 Share Posted October 23, 2014 I like to drink Blue Motorcycles at the bar. If you know what this is...do you know what they are called on the Carnival ships? Would love to get one cause it'd be on par with a Long Island.
CruisinChandler Posted October 23, 2014 #2 Share Posted October 23, 2014 I haven't had one before, but I googled it and it seems to be a blue Long Island. Carnival has regular Long Islands on their Classic Cocktail menu (which gives you match play at the casino). Or if you wanted a Long Island with a twist and will be going on a ship with the Blue Iguana Tequila Bar you can order the Iguana's Iced Tea which is described as a tropical version of a Long Island. :) Enjoy your cruise! jkneern Posted October 23, 2014 #3 Share Posted October 23, 2014 Someone had recommended that last night on a post I had. It is called just that, blue motorcycle.
falkcor Posted October 23, 2014 #4 Share Posted October 23, 2014 it's not one of the advertised standard cocktails that i've ever seen. but if you tell the bartender what's in it / how to make it, they can make anything you want.
BarJen Posted October 23, 2014 #5 Share Posted October 23, 2014 I've had the Blue Long Island's before, it's a Long Island with a splash of BLue Curacao instead of cola. Very good and very strong! And yes as someone else mentioned, if you want a Blue motorcycle just tell the bartender ;) Barry

Oceanborn Posted October 23, 2014 #7 Share Posted October 23, 2014 Just remember to save every receipt for those Long Islands! Every Long Island you have a receipt for is redeemable for a $5 chip that can be used at the casino. I had about 9x $5 chips at the end of my last cruise that I bet on Red/Black at the roulette table and won back more than I had spent on the drinks originally lol. Oceanborn Posted October 23, 2014 #10 Share Posted October 23, 2014 (edited) Do Tokoyo Tea or blue motorcycles count for the $5 chip? The only drinks that count toward this program are the "Carnival Classic Drinks" which are. Long Island Ice Tea, Ultimate Margarita, Mojito, The Cruiser, Mai Tai, and Sex on the Beach. They are $8.75 a piece, but no matter where you purchase them on the ship, as long as you have your receipt for it you will get your $5 chip. Multiples on the same receipt will receive multiple $5 chips no problem, no need for separate receipts. Take your receipts to the cashier in the casino to get your credit. This is a long standing, fleet wide carnival program : ) Edited October 23, 2014 by Oceanborn

jetskier Posted October 23, 2014 #12 Share Posted October 23, 2014 If you get the Blue Motorcycle, they will ring it up as a Long Island Ice Tea so you will still be able to get the receipt. Dave
