womack214 Posted October 26, 2014 #1 Share Posted October 26, 2014 Anyone that has been on the eastern Allure/Oasis route and stopped at Bahamas......My itemerary says we are in port in Nassau from 7am to 2 pm. This is ship time correct? Also I read somewhere that Nassau time is one hour behind ship time. So you mean to tell me that we are in port from 6am to 1 pm local time? This makes it very hard for those of us who want to do Atlantis. Any suggestions.......
killtheump Posted October 27, 2014 #2 Share Posted October 27, 2014 Florida, The Bahamas and ship time will all be the same. Depending on when you are sailing St. Thomas & St. Maarteen could be a hour difference. http://www.worldtimeserver.com

killtheump Posted October 27, 2014 #4 Share Posted October 27, 2014 St. Thomas & St. Marteen will be 1 hour ahead. Make sure you stay on Ship Time. When we were on The Allure 2 years ago in November the Ship Time never changed. Use your watch not cellphone or you may miss the ship! 😯

If Nassau is to the east of Florida and there is a 1 hour time difference, doesn't that make it 8:00 am to 3:00 pm?
BillB48 Posted October 27, 2014 #7 Share Posted October 27, 2014 Nassau is presently EDT and will fall back to EST the same time as we do in the States. As long as O and A remain on Eastern time for their cruise, there will not be any time difference between ship time and local time in Nassau.
