Does RCCL have formal nights? I'll be on 7 day cruise on Adventure of the seas. I'm choosing My Time dining but what is the dress code in general?

On a 7night cruise there will usually be 2 formal nights. On the other nights Specialty restaurants are smart casual, other venues are casual. No shorts, singlets or flip flops in the main dining room in the evening.

Formal attire is suggested but not required - jean are acceptable.

That is not the way to dress!!! The code is specific with no shorts allowed. You can be refused seating if you are not properly dressed

The dress code is no longer a code but a suggestion. The verbiage from the Vision formal night last Friday is:

 

TONIGHT'S DINNER SUGGESTION - Formal/White Themed Attire (Please Note that bare feet, short pants, caps and tank tops are not recommended in the Dining Rooms or any of our Specialty Restaurant.)

 

 

They no longer even specify jeans and even what is implied as not being allowed is only a recommendation.

You would do good to find your Roll Call. Most will be talking about what they are wearing, doing, etc. A very informative tool!
