Room Assignment Removed

So I had a room assigned to me, U228, but now it has been removed. Does this happen often? If so for what reason?

What date, what cruise ship. How many does that room sleep and how many on your reservation? What kind of reservation, ES, cruise line picks the room, etc....

Happens most often when you have a cabin that sleeps more than 2 and don't have more than 2 booked. Other than that, it is pretty unusual.

I am guessing you are on a Fantasy class ship. U228 is an aft balcony. Chances are someone put in a booking for one, and they moved you to a different regular balcony cabin.

 

But just a guess.

Did you book a Guarantee? Were you "underbooked" (fewer passengers than the cabin holds) for U228? ken

It is the Inspiration sailing 11/14. There are 2 of us and I think it is a 2 person room. No balcony on this ship from what I understand. It was a guarantee.

Well as long as I am on the ship it doesn't matter!! I thought it would be cool having a window looking out the back though.
