We were originally ES OV, but had already switched to a GTY balcony, been assigned a room, then went back into the GTY pool again for a price drop. Called yesterday and was told I couldn't get the Halloween sale and price drop because you can only go into the GTY pool once. After reading this board and seeing that not all Carnival employees follow the policy, and realizing I had already done it twice so that can't be true I called back. I was told no again. I called again and this time he did it for me! He didn't even question it, and acted like he was doing something completely normal. Hopefully, now with a new CEO coming in for Carnival, they will concentrate on improving their customer service. I have never seen a big company like Carnival have such poor customer service.
