zydecocruiser Posted August 20, 2005 #1 Share Posted August 20, 2005 Very orignal name. ;) Anyway, the beach mentioned in RCCL Dune Buggy Jungle and Beach Safari? "Your adventure begins as you board a Dune Buggy off-road vehicle and set out on a caravan style journey towards a simpler life that has long been forgotten. You may either drive or ride, but do come prepared to sightsee the isolated and quaint fishing village of Majahaul. As your tour continues, you will notice that your excursion is heading away from the likes of electricity and civilization as you venture onto unpaved roads and picture perfect Caribbean scenes. Encounter an endless variety of lush green vegetation and tropical birds from the region. A brief stop will be made where you can shop for local crafts. Once more jump into your off-road vehicle and head towards the Caribbean's best kept secret, La Palapa Beach. Don't forget to take photos of the breathtaking backdrops along the way. When you reach La Palapa Beach, you will be amazed at the untouched beauty of this area and you will have one hour and fifteen minutes to enjoy the miles upon miles of virgin beach. Kickback on a hammock or go for a swim in the turquoise blue Caribbean Sea. There are ocean kayaks if you want to survey the beach from a different angle or you can have a romantic walk down the pristine coastline. The warm sun will accompany you through your stay and after the beach, it is time to head back to the ship. Your tour includes transportation, soft drinks and bottled water, use of kayaks and volleyball court."
