QE2 World Cruise - 2007

Rotterdam

Recommended Posts

Hello there Rotterdam:

If you you telephone Cunard they can give you the full 2007

world cruise itin for both ships. As I understand right now,

the best discount is at 10% and all promotions will follow

in the next several months. I think they are only asking for

a 10% deposit at this time. Cunard has been accepting

inquiries and bookings since last Saturday ( 13th ).

Cunard Sydney have started taking bookings for the Queen Mary 2 World Cruise 2007. They are offering a early booking discount and a further past passenger discount, as well as some other perks. I believe the itinerary is as follows:

Jan 10 Fort Lauderdale, USA

Jan 18 Rio de Janeiro, Brazil

Jan 20 Montevideo, Uraguay

Jan 26 Valparaiso, Chile

Feb 1 Aculpulco, Mexico

Feb 4,5 San Francisco, USA

Feb 9 Honolulu, USA

Feb 13 Pago Pago, American Samoa

Feb 17 Auckland, New Zealand

Feb 20 Sydney, Australia

Feb 28 Hong Kong, China

Mar 3 Singapore, Singapore

Mar 4 Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

Mar 7,8 Cochin, India

Mar 11 Dubai, UAE

Mar 17 Alexandria, Egypt

Mar 19 Athens, Greece

Mar 21 Rome, Italy

Mar 25 Le Havre, France

Mar 26 Southampton, UK

Apr 2 Fort Lauderdale, USA

As far as I know, QE2s' schedule has not been released, although they will both be in Fort Lauderdale on January 10th and also in Sydney together on February 20th.

I booked Ft Lauderdale to Sydney on QM2 without knowing the details of the itinerary and it looks as if we will have plenty of sea days. My intention is to transfer to QE2 in Sydney so that I will experience both South America and South Africa in the same year circumnavigation.

I did the QM2 inaugural to New York in Princess Grill and was not particularly impressed and am looking forward to trying the alternative dining options on a longer journey and also experiencing the Britannia dining room which certainly looks far more interesting than what I consider the bland PG.

Ab Ovo,

Was this the 8 night crossing to Ft Lauderdale?

What was availability like when you booked - in the UK bookings are only being taken from 1 September? Also what would the weather be like in Florida in Jan?

Kind Regards,
