Cabin Information/ Splendour of the seas

Have a hold on cabin 8080 at the stern of the ship deck 8. Any info would be helpful. Thanks in advance. Tom

Hi Tom,

 

My family and I had 8080 on the Splendour in June. We were really looking forward to it, but ended up experiencing some problems while on the cruise. One of the problems involved a theft from our cabin that is still being investigated by RCI Risk Management in Miami. (Note that the cabin is in a secluded corner off the main hallway and right next to a crew stairway.) I don't want to go into any details, though, until I find out how the incident will be resolved by RCI. They have promised to be in contact with us soon. In addition, we did have lots of soot on our balcony every day. I love watching the wake, but the deck chairs were always dirty and had to be wiped down before using them. The long walk to the aft didn't bother us at all. If it were my choice, though, I would not choose this location again.
