green eyed lady Posted November 6, 2014 #1 Share Posted November 6, 2014 Anyone have any recent experience with the day pass here? Looking for price, hours and if you can reserve ahead of time or just show up. Thanks:D
mlrack101 Posted November 6, 2014 #2 Share Posted November 6, 2014 I've read great things about this and was just coming in to ask about the possibility to reserve ahead of time. :) Sent from my iPhone using Forums
sellhomz Posted November 11, 2014 #3 Share Posted November 11, 2014 I just got off the 1-800 phone for the Marriott and they said they stopped doing that a while ago. I had heard the beach and coral was very nice there. Any one know of anywhere else that is nice for relaxing that has a pool available.
Isa65 Posted November 12, 2014 #4 Share Posted November 12, 2014 People are still doing it, but Marriott doesn't accept reservations. So, you can just show up and get a pass (it's less than 10 minutes away by cab from the ship).
dioxide45 Posted December 15, 2014 #5 Share Posted December 15, 2014 The Marriott is nice, but the beach isn't the best. There are far better ones on Curacao.
cpapa84 Posted December 15, 2014 #6 Share Posted December 15, 2014 Do you know what the cost is? Does it come with a room too or probably not? I am nervous about just showing up!
dioxide45 Posted December 20, 2014 #7 Share Posted December 20, 2014 Do you know what the cost is? Does it come with a room too or probably not? I am nervous about just showing up! I wouldn't expect it to include a room. If you want that you just book that and have use of the facilities. I would suspect they give you access to the fitness center where there would be showers. Though they may have some near the pool also, though I don't remember them while we were there. It would be best to contact the resort directly to get the most accurate details, including price. carnivalman Posted February 12, 2015 #11 Share Posted February 12, 2015 Marriott has fantastic snorkeling...aren't all beaches public...I would just walk out to the beach. The beach is public. The lounge chairs are not. It's your call if you want to sit on a towel on the sand. They can also refuse you entry onto the hotel property, although they probably wouldn't.
